How do Phrase plans work?
Our platform fee includes the following:
Seats
– Unlimited TMS Seats (Freelancer plan limited to 1 TMS Seat)
– 150 Strings Seats (Freelancer plan does not include Strings Seats)
Capacity
– Capacities for the following products are included in your subscription, based on your chosen plan:
Phrase TMS, Phrase Strings, Phrase Language AI, Phrase Custom AI, Phrase Orchestrator, Phrase Portal.
Access to Phrase Analytics and Phrase Quality Technologies is also included in your plan.
Can I add capacity to my plan?
You can add capacity for the following:

How much does additional capacity cost?
For more information on capacity top-ups, please reach out to our Sales team (new customers) or your Customer Success Manager (existing customers) for more details.
Can I add user seats to my plan?
Phrase TMS seats are unlimited across all plans (with exception to the Freelancer plan).
Phrase Strings seats can be topped-up as needed.
How is a user defined?
A user is defined as the number of individual User accounts registered within Phrase and designated as active.
Everybody who is working in Phrase is a user, no matter if it is a project manager, translator, designer, or developer.
How can I add additional capacity to my plan?
You’re able to add capacity to your plan from within the product.
Which payment options does Phrase accept?
We offer payment via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Union Pay), PayPal and bank transfer. Get in touch with our Sales team if you have special procurement requirements, such as a purchase order process. Our default payment terms are Net 15.
What billing cycles does Phrase offer?
We offer annual and quarterly billing. The prices above apply to annual billing. Reach out for more information about quarterly billing.
What is included in the trial?
During your 14-day free trial of the Phrase Localization Platform, you’ll have access to Enterprise features, except for the integrations which require additional fees.
Will I get charged automatically after the trial ends?
No, you won’t. You’ll only be charged once you have purchased a subscription.
How much does ordering professional translations cost?
You can order professional translation services for Phrase Strings only. Depending on the vendor you choose, rates for professional translations start at US$0.06 per word.
What is the difference between Direct Plans and Freelancer & LSP plans?
Direct plans are for businesses with their own in-house localization teams that work directly with Phrase. The LSP plan is exclusively available to LSPs—companies that offer localization services to others.
