Our goal is to expedite your business’ growth into brand new, international markets by facilitating the globalization of your content. . So what new features or updates have we added to your favorite localization translation software? What are we doing right now to help make your life easier?

Here at Phrase we’re always looking for ways to improve our product, offer you the new features you need to fully localize your software, apps and websites and create a faster, more efficient, comprehensive user experience tailored for one purpose:

Making your company’s international growth easier.

So what are these new features we’re so pleased about?

I’m glad you asked.

Let’s get started:

1. Phrase Now Supports I18next JSON Format!

We’re super excited to announce that we’re now supporting one of the most popular formats for localizing your Javascript applications, i18next.

What Is Supported?
i18next offers a lot of functionality. We fully support:

  • Pluralization
  • Namespaces
  • Arrays

What’s not to love?

You can read all about i18next’s capabilities on their website, conveniently located here.

Or you can always check out a much more detailed guide of our own located here in our documents section. Be sure to bookmark our documentation directory while you’re at it.

2. Upgraded Translation Memory

Our built-in translation memory just got a little bit smarter. It now provides more useful matches across your projects.

The translation memory remembers past translations used in your projects and suggests matching results while translating content. This speeds up the translation process by a tremendous amount and improves consistency across texts and projects.

Even better, there’s no need to update your existing translation memory. It will be refreshed automatically with every new translation that you add.

This feature is available to our professional plan and above.

You can read more about how the translation memory system works by checking out our documentation page.

3. We’ve Updated Our User Management

In our ongoing quest to make your life easier and your processes run more smoothly we released an update to our user management feature.

You can now invite new users simply by entering in their email address. That’s it. That’s all. You’re done. You don’t have to worry about anything else.

This new user management system will make it much easier for you to search for and quickly locate your team members. This function will be extremely helpful for managers working with a larger group.

You can, as always, read way more about specific features and how to implement them by checking out our documentation section – you know, the one you didn’t bookmark yet but are going to do now, right? Right.

Our sole priority is to make your translation process smarter, faster and easier. That’s what Phrase is all about.

In order to do that we’re constantly working to provide you with ever improving software designed not only to optimize your localization needs but also to simplify your life.

We’re really happy about these updates and we certainly hope you are too.

As always you’re not only welcome, but encouraged, to Contact a Human at any time if you find yourself in need of any assistance of any kind.

Unless you’re on fire.

In which case just remember to stop, drop and roll.
