Our primary goal here at PhraseApp is to make your life, your developers’ lives and your translators’ lives easier while paving the way to a properly localized piece of software, a website or mobile app.
Our developers have worked hard this past month to bring you three new PhraseApp features that I believe you’ll find useful.
So let’s get down to business…
1. You can now tag your colleagues.
Our first update was to make sure that you could properly communicate with your team no matter what and without having to go to any great lengths in order to track them down. Now, the only thing that you have to do is type @ followed by your colleague’s name to tag them in a comment.
When you do this, your project member will receive an email notifying them of their mention in a comment.
We’re hoping that this new feature will significantly streamline the communication processes involved with your translation projects and enhance communicability.
2. Launched Support for Episerver XML
Are you using Episerver? We now support it!
Episerver is a content management system (CMS) that uses .xml files for localization and you can now manage those XML files directly in PhraseApp, too!
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes"?> <languages> <language name="en" id="en"> <mystring>my string</mystring> <subnode> <myotherstring>my other string</myotherstring> </subnode> </language> </languages>
3. User Activity Reports
We’ve activated a new user report system that allows you to know which of your team members have been active and when.
You can now see easily monitor how many words have been translated.
This upgrade comes with a number of other tracking features as well to really give you an edge when it comes to keeping on top of your project management.
Activated user reports are available to our business account subscription level and up.
That’s all for now.
We hope you’re satisfied with your experiences with our product and that these new PhraseApp features are useful to you and your project team. If you’re ever in need of help from a human please don’t hesitate to hit us up with your questions.
We look forward to hearing from you!
